Is the 3303 movement a good one?
I'm looking at an Omega with a 3303 movement for purchase. I do not know if this was a good movement for Omega or problematic. If any of you can provide information on it I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Power source of the clocks.....
provides power to keep the clock going. In mechanical clocks, this is either a weight suspended from a cord wrapped around a pulley, or a spiral spring called a mainspring. In electric clocks, it is either a battery or the AC power line.Since clocks must run continuously, there is often a small secondary power source to keep the clock going temporarily during interruptions in the main power. In old mechanical clocks, a maintaining power spring kept the clock turning while the mainspring was being wound. In quartz clocks that use AC power, a small backup battery is often included to keep the clock running if it is unplugged temporarily from the wall.

Tissot Seastar Automatic won't wind!
I own a Tissot Seastar automatic, the watch will not wind, it will still run with movement on wrist, although I'm afraid of doing possibly any more damage so it's just been set aside, I want to get this watch fixed, any ideas what has broke or is off that's caused this problem? Unfortunately I bought this watch online because I was saving a fair amount of money, the problem is there is no warranty.

Shark Mesh on my Seamster Sword Hands
I picked up my new Omega shark mesh bracelet today for my Seamaster Sword Hands.The first thing that struck me is that the clasp is seriously chunky. It can't be anything but chunky considering it was, I believe, originally designed for serious professional use on the Ploprof. Its also a lovely piece of engineering, great quality with smooth operation on the extendable clasp. One gets used to the size after a while but it looks like it will be a formidable scratch magnet!The mesh is beautiful to look at. Again, its quite thick and elaborately constructed. The overall appearance is very masculine but also sophisticated. It does not look blingy to my eyes.The truly surprising fact is that this bracelet is one of the most comfortable I have worn (coming only second to my Rolex Jubilee bracelet in the comfort and ease of use stakes).Overall this is a beautiful bracelet and I'm very happy with it. Its going to stay on my Seamaster and its a good match with the watch. Yes, the clasp is huge

His and Hers SMPs (black ceramic)
My wife and I were visiting Seattle and decided to stop by the Omega Boutique. They had a fantastic selection of watches and a very knowledgable sales staff. We ended up purchasing his and hers black ceramic SMPs, which look much better in person than they do in photos. I have a Bond SMP that's about 15 years old, and this watch is a major upgrade.
