Just got my latest Seiko....
So my wife really wanted a new clock for the mantel...wanted something that chimed every 15 mins and on the hour and all that. She looked all over the internet and when she came across this one and asked what I thought I told her "It's a Seiko...no need to look any further". LOL. It's a battery operated quartz but the pendulum but does actually move back and forth...looks WAY more expensive that it is. We're happy with it. Anyway, pics of my latest Seiko. Anyone got any strap ideas?

First Look- Hager Commando Mil Sub Review
Late last year I ran across the Hager Commando, a watch being designed by Pete and Brenda Brown in Hagerstown Maryland. Since I live in Baltimore and was beginning to really want a sub homage this sounded perfect for me. Pete brought his prototype (and Brenda and his kids:-)) to our January GTG and after talking with him and seeing the watch I ordered one- delivery set for late April. What impressed me at the time was Pete's commitment to quality and making sure his watches would be thoroughly tested. At that time, we noted that the bezel had some play. Before we could even say anything Pete let us know that he was aware and that it was going to be fixed on the production models.April rolled around and like most first runs there was a delay. Pete and Brenda did a nice job of communicating the delay and explaining that his QA process caught something (the lume pip was the wrong color) and they offered everyone who ordered a free strap. I finally got the GP strap and I love it on my RG, the red sides work so well with the RG and black ceramic pushers. Also got a white cap, the quality is really nice and it's very well made, feels more substantive than the Gucci cap I paid an extortionate amount for on Bond St.

Why I chose the 216570 over the 114060
Hello everyone. Huge fan of this forum; my first post. I have done a lot of research, reading all of the wonderful and amazing reviews, posts, banter :) and good information this forum has to offer. I recently had the opportunity to purchase my first Rolex. I narrowed it down to the submariner 114060 non date and the polar explorer 216570. This was a very very very difficult decision. My wrist size is about 7.25. I want to share my opinions and insight for anyone else who may have had this dilemma. I also was very fortunate to be able to wear each one for one week; a generous offer from the brother in law. Here are my thoughts. The Submariner is just a beauty. The watch has everything anyone could ever want. I found the bezel to be simply amazing, full of life in the light. The glide lock is exceptional and I already miss it after one week. I prefer the size 40mm case. However, I had my eye on the polar explorer 42mm. How could I deny the incredible dial of this beautiful watch? The 2
