IWC dive watch enthusiasts rejoiced to see a freshened up line of IWC Aquatimer watches released recently at SIHH 2009 in Geneva. There are a number of new models, and a slightly updated a depth gauge version as well (the Deep Two). IWC seemed to take a completely different approach this year as the line is much more colorful and shiny than it was previously. I am sure that the watches are mechanically and functionally superb, but I have mixed feelings on the new looks. Still the details are impressive, especially the use of sapphire crystals over the rotating bezels.People associate professional instruments with IWC watches. The Aquatimer series was always for the serious enthusiast. The new line has models that almost look cartoony in some angles, and the sheer range of colors available seems to miss the point of why people chose IWC Aquatimer watches over competitor offerings. Here is an Omega Constellation Chronometer Quartz and I don't really know much about this, anybody in this forum can enlighten me about my new purchase? This is my first omega watch and looking forward on acquiring some more pieces as time goes on, didn't want to go crazy on my first one so i figured something old like this would be the first step.I noticed that the crown doesn't have the Omega logo embossed. When I also try to change the time, the hour hand is the only thing moving the minute hand gets stuck on its position as if something was stuck on its gear, but when I check it it keeps good time I just dont get it. How much does watch service cost and would it be worth it for this watch? looking forward to hear from you Omega pro's!the number under the logo inside the watch is 1343. Took a new pic of the current state of my collection last evening.1987 GMT, 2008 GMT and not sure about the Tudor though I did buy it last December.Replaced the original Tudor bracelet with a Rolex Oyster. I also brushed the top of the case to match the brushed bracelet, but left the sides polished. Looks about perfect now
