Graham 2BLES.B35B wrist watches news:
Does anybody has any experience on non-COSC PAM ? in its accuracy and reliabilty ? I have been looking to BASE model as it does sings to me a lot due to its clean simple dial look, compare to othersbut i just found out that it is not COSC so the the AD even told me about getting the MARINA which costs more ( obviously ) .. any opinion would be much appreciated....rgdsPete J
I became interested in mechanical watches about five months ago. Have slowly learned a few things, but mostly jumped right in and with a somewhat limited disposable budget, started buying watches that "seemed" like good deals on Ebay. All are new. I have 5-Citizen Eco-drives, 4-Invicta Pro Divers, 1-Invicta Speedway II, 2-Seiko automatic 21 -jewel, 1-Citizen Eagle automatic 21-jewel, and a few really cheap watches like my first, an AK Homme auto because it "looked nice" for around $30. Which is amazingly accurate for a $30.00 mechanical watch. Regardless, are any of these worth keeping? I have been thinking in my limited purchase range, that vintage Tissot or Omegas are the way to start, seeing them on Ebay often selling for as little as $100-$150 sometimes. Suggestions?
My new EL that I bought from Gerard arrived yesterday so I thought I would share some pics. I really liked the blue dial when I first saw pictures of it a few months ago, so when the opportunity came along to buy one I couldn't resist. I just love the guilloch¨¦ dials on the EL watches. The dial is more recessed on this watch vs. the WTF EL that so many of us have. I assume this is because it's a quartz and doesn't have the thick movement inside. The watch looks great but I think it would look slightly better if EL could make it not so recessed like the auto versions. Overall I'm very pleased with the watch and it will be a great companion to my WTF EL.
Hi guys, Just a quick question, When removing the links from the oyster bracelet on either 12 or 6 ¡®o clock side, is it best to remove the links closest to the clasp first or the link closest to the lugs? Is there a difference? And if so what is it? Sorry for the newb question. Just wanted to know before I attempt to do it when I get my new BLNRThank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am selling my gun and ammo collection so that I can buy another Rolex. I currently own a 50th Anniversary Submariner (Green Bezel) that I bought new in 2007 and the 1987 168000 Submariner my dad gave me about a month ago (currently at RSC Dallas getting fixed up). Originally, I couldn't decide between an older two tone Rolex Submariner with the blue face (16613), which I have wanted since I was a kid, or an older Rolex GMT Master (or GMT Master II) with the Pepsi bezel. Then I started seeing the new Black/Blue GMT Master II with the blue 24 hour hand and now I am really torn. If I can manage to sell my Suzuki DRZ-400, I might get two of the three. Any thoughts on what I should get next? It may take a while to move the gun collection too.
