Breitling a1338012/b995-1rd wrist watches news:
I've narrowed down to two models of Omegas and wanted to get some more input before I make the final decision. The two models are the 2254.50 and the 212.30.41.20.01.002 (the black bond, non-special addition). The resources Ive used so far have provided me with the following differences. Obvious cosmetic differences, different bands on the watches, and the major difference the movement of the two watches. So my question is.....are these differences, mainly the co ax movement really worth the abt $700 dollar price difference? I realize opinions will be different on this but I want everyones two cents. As far as I know the weight of both watches is similar, the case diameter of both watches is exact 41mm, but the co axial is supposed to be a superior movement, im guessing more accurate? more reliable? durable?
I've only just been infected with the Watch Collector's disease recently, so I was overjoyed to find this very informative and active forum to feed my addiction and thirst for knowledge.Anyway, since I can't take photos like everyone here (yet!), I made a video review of my first watch purchase, the Nixon 51-30. And then I had to make a follow-up to fill in all the stuff I forgot in the first review (newbie!). Anyway, trying to contribute something to this community.Thanks!youtube/user/BigWatchFan
Just saw that the AP Diver (for example) has risen from it's previous price of 15.300 euro to 16.700 euro? This is at an online retailer. Anyone can confirm?
How does the application process work? Is there an essay you write describing why you believe you are worthy of keeping it for the next generation? Do you recount your watch-buying history? Describe the first time you saw a Nautilus and got weak in the knees?Or is it more ¡°general?¡± Do you attach your engagement announcement as posted in the New York Times? Attach your school transcripts starting from prep school?I really don¡¯t know, although I am not sure if I will like the answer.
I think I've covered all the bases as far as Rolex goes at the moment. Can't see room for a Sub in here, and not massive on the Daytona's (have a Speedmaster instead). The only thing I may find space for is a Datejust further down the line.I have a few other watches as well as these, a Tag, a Bulova, 3 Omega and 1 more Rolex GMT in TT. All the watches are quite sporty. All that's missing is something on a leather/dressy strap. Your suggestions would be appreciated.
