Philip Stein 1DFCMOPZBR wrist watches news:
Sounds like a simple question, doesn't it? Now I'm going to complicate it, and probably ruffle some feathers with this statement:Most people who fancy themselves as collectors are really amassers and/or enthusiasts. To me, the definition of a collector is someone who has a goal to complete a set of some object. You're idea of what that complete set is might vary. Maybe you want one example of each complication, or you're after one specimen of each variation of a particular model of watch for a particular year, decade, or the entire length of the model run. Could be you want one model or caliber from a certain brand during a certain era. Whatever it is, there's some kind of parameters. What's your definition or goal? Which watches do you own that meet your criteria, and which are you chasing towards that goal? Pictures for illustration purposes are welcome!
Posted already in the Hamilton forum, but, had to post here as well Been eyeballing this watch at a local AD for a few days and today we agreed on a good price First Hamilton for me, but, likely not my last! The price point for these guys is perfect enough for me to buy them under my wife's radar
from antiquarium:In 1986, pop artist Keith Haring designed four Swatch models, produced in a series numbered 1 to 9999. Then, in 1989, Mimmo Paladino, won the ¡°Design Your Swatch¡± contest in which 100 of the best-known celebrities took part. Swatch¡¯s new creations became the talk of the town, as well as collector¡¯s items.
My brother is picking up a Superocean 44 Special this week. He inspired me to switch it up and go to rubber for a while! Anyone else changing to summer straps?
Has anyone heard the Green submariner 116610lv will be discontinued?I have only heard this from dealers who are selling them so I'm a bit apprehensive to believe it.
