Invicta 1117 wrist watches news:
The Franck Muller Watches were born in 1983. The founder of the company Franck Muller produced his first watch in this year & unveiled a world premier once in a year events & the brand acclaimed popularity among watch collectors & lovers.
went on vacation last week and hit the Cayman Island's:This is one Ginormous watch!!! The Hublot "Big Bang King!!":OOPS!! The wife caught me sneaking away to check out some watches!! Totally forgot she had a camera!!lol:
So I wanted to ask a question that I hope isn't touchy or anything for anyone...if it is I apologize. I was just wondering if there are any places in particular that you buy your watches. This year I've bought 3 watches from Overstock(all Jacques Lemans), 2 from Amazon(Invicta and Citizen Eco Drive) and 1 from Costco(Invicta). I tend to think that the web is where I'm going to get the best prices but wanted to see if there were any speciality sites or stores you use here in the U.S. or abroad. I noticed a thread earlier about buying direct from Orient at half off or something to that effect and was a bit suprised. I was at Macy's tonite looking at Seikos and thinking "no way in hell would I buy here and pay full price". While I definitely am all for paying for quality it's definitely NOT in me to pay full price either. Thanks in advance for your input.
I've been visiting this forum for awhile gathering information & impressions about different quality watches. After a lot of research I decided to get a Damasko DC56 Chronograph & it was delivered yesterday. It seems to be a finely crafted piece of equipment but there's something about it that nags me. The sweep of the chronograph second hand(when turned on)does not move smoothly throughout its full rotation. There are places where it runs at a different beat, almost like a quartz movement, and the it runs smoothly like a mechanical movement. It does this at the same places on the dial consistently. I haven't noticed any inaccuracy in time keeping but it is troublesome for a brand new watch. I have an 8 yr. old Wenger Registered Model GST Air w/ the same Valjoux 7750 movement that runs smoothly throughout it's second hand rotation.Could this be an indication of a serious problem or something that will work itself out w/ use?
Hi guys, anyone know anything about this Omega chrono, like year of manufacture, movement no. etc. Thanks.
