An watches-dealer reader was nice enough to share with us the work of UK-born and -based Dominic Wilcox, who, among other things, has made wrist and pocket watch dials a palette for artistic expression.Wilcox calls these creations "Watch Sculptures" and they start with vintage wrist and pocket watches that he has acquired. The first step is removing the crystal and replacing them with a tall dome to make room for the small sculptures and figurines that he creates. Help Identifying Vintage Omega
Hi Guys,I need a little help identifying the specifics on this watch. A AD looked at it and states that it was a cal.565, ref 166-02,with a serial number indicating a 1968 vintage. I have done searches on the net but cannot come up with the same dial. also anyone have any idea a ballpark value? any help is appreciated.

Oysterflex query
I¡¯m currently considering my next purchase and the 40mm SS Yachtmaster has caught my eye, although I¡¯m not yet sure whether blue or dark rhodium. My question is simple:If I could get hold of an Oysterflex bracelet/strap would it be a perfect fit on the steel version of the watch?From pictures of the Everose model, it looks like the clasp would transfer easily and the strap would just fit between the lugs in the usual way on the springbars. Anyone have any experience of this ? Am I being overly simplistic? - I know Rolex has some very smart ways to prevent a mix & match approach between watches. If anyone has any pictures of a successful fit then even better!Thanks all.
