Invicta 18340 wrist watches news:
Hi all,I just found this forum. Great stuff!I was wondering if anyone had info on this watch brand? I can'T seem to locate anything on the net. Here's what info I do have (and pics):"Vintage, 1960¡¯s, men¡¯s wrist-watch with a 25 jeweled movement. Self winding mechanism operates smoothly and begins to tic with only a few shakes and seems to keep accurate time. The second hand is missing. Stem feels strong and tight while the hands move freely and operate correctly. In order to set the date, the hands must be cycled through a 24 hour period. The dial-face is clean without any cracks and the lens is remarkably clear." Other than the logo and "made in Germany" on the dial-face, the only other telling symbol is an embossed Hallmark with the letters, H/B under a crown, within a circle, located on the mechanism next to the timing spring. I tried to snap a photo of this but I couldn¡¯t quite capture the complete image of the H, to the left of the B (see picture). If any watch aficionados out th
Hey guys !Once in a GREAT while you get your hands on one that has been SAFELY tucked away in a drawer for some 60+ years ! ! ! ! (give or take)Today was one of those days ! ! !I would MUCH rather get a watch that has been sitting in a drawer for 60+ years than one somebody else has messed with! This is a 1917 Elgin Trench Watch that sits inside a SEMI-HERMETIC Bates & Bacon "Royal" gold filled case with an OFFSET CROWN ! ! ! ! ! ! !The threading on the bezel and on the case back is in SUPERB condition, nobody has tried to open the case the WRONG way.100% completely ORIGINAL ! ! ! ! The ONLY things that are brand new on this 95 year old watch are the band and the mainspring.ORIGINAL glass, factory crown, stem, sleeve, dial, hands, movement and MOST of the factory lum is still intact.Getting them in this completely original condition with the lum still in tact is extremely difficult ! ! !When disassembling and reassembling the watch you MUST be very careful and NOT touch the lum.The
Since I am always asleep at this time of night (or day), I never, ever have started one of these threads. Until now.Going with the Seamaster cal. 750 today:Have a great day!!!
hi everyone, can you help, about twenty odd years ago my father bought me an omega constilation 18kt gold, with a beautiful bronze face. The only way i can describe it,was it was very similar to a rolex midas, only much larger. I traded it for new day date ,which i still own, but regretted it ever since, and have never seen one again any where. many thanks gary.
I will be travelling to Switzerland within the next month and was wondering what the stock is like regarding the BLNR. I've been on a few UK lists for 1 year and I don't expect a call anytime soon.
