- I bought this for my husband and I could not wait til Christmas to give it to him. It is beautiful and very elegant in looks. I'm just disappointed that I did not buy one for my dad and brother-in-law. Very satisfied.

- Loved giving the watch to my husband, a former math teacher, for his birthday. Unfortunately, the band was way too short to fit his regular sized wrist! I had to return it! Sincerely, Janet Hartling

Maurice Lacroix MP6358-PG101-71E wrist watches news:
Hi FriendsI am in Malaysia on business and I have spotted an available (stainless steel) GMT IIc at an AD here. It's a sweet little peach of a watch...however...my only misgiving is that the numbers on the bezel are kind of a cream and beige uneven colour. It looks suspiciously to me like raw ceramic.I remember reading somewhere that the numbers on the bezel are supposed to be platinum. What colour are the bezel numbers supposed to be?Can anyone enlighten me? Is it possible that Rolex could have forgotten to add the platinum to the bezel numbers???
I got my start in watch collecting with a simple search for a replacement case for a pocket watch. In 1972 I was living in Gallup NM which was founded in 1881 by the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad which later became the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe. Not surprisingly I found a RR pocket watch in a jewelers store on the main street, Route 66. It was a trade-in by a railroad employee on a new Accutron and was for sale for $25. Deal (engraved name included). It had a base metal case with a worn out pedestal that would let the bow pop off about every 50th time I would pull it out of my pocket. The first balance staff cost me ¡ $25. Each one after that would be about $20 more. Finally sometime after I finished college I put it away broken. Several years ago I got the watch repaired (turned out to be a piece of fluff loose in the movement) and started looking for a case. So I had my first 21j RR approved pocket watch.A Ball Hamilton 999B from 1954.Of course in the process I had found Ebay and
My parents want to get me something special for my 18th, they have suggested a nice watch an I like the Idea, ?350 is their budget which is very tight for a nice watch.I started by looking at Submariners as they were affordable second hand watches that would retain their value but I didn't particular think they were the solutionNext I looked into second hand Tags, my parents got me a nice Grand Carrera only to fail its authentication. Refunded we moved on, shame as I love Tags! Very modern stylish look. Plus being a massive motor racing enthusiast, something that resembles any part of a car has me hooked! Now I am looking outside the box, a swiss for that money seems impossible, so I looked at other brands and 4 came up as the best for that price range:TissotCitizenHamiltonCasioThis left me on a cliff hanger, only to see the shiny RBR branded casio edifice! This made me look into Casios. I found [link removed] that I lovedbut I'm not sure it's right. It wont retain any value and it's n
My wife has had this in her posession for quite sometime ... We're wanting to get it appraised but I do not know model etc. Thanks for any help you can provide...and sorry for the low quality pictures. On the face of the watch it says OMEGA, Ladymatic and Swiss Made. The back of the watch it says 14KGOLD and the wristband clasp says 14K as well. Thanks again
Thinking about buying the wifey a Patek 24 for this Christmas. Interested to get others views on this watch...the only small reservations I have are that its a quartz (albeit my wife likes quartz more than automatics) and the fact that it looks very similar in design to a cartier tank for women (which my wife already has one)Opinions welcomed...
