Patek Philippe 5711/1A-011 wrist watches news:
I am thinking of purchasing an Omega Seamaster 300m chronometer in black. The closest AD to my home is over two hours away. However, I'm headed on a cruise to the caribbean soon and will stopping in ports with multiple ADs. I was wondering if someone could suggest what would be a reasonable price to pay to brink one home. Thanks for any help you can give me!
I am interested in purchasing a khaki field chrono auto. I was wondering how durable this watch would be, and if it would be strong enough to be worn at work on the construction site. My current watch takes alot of abuse. I'm also wondering which type of strap would be a better choice, I'm undecided they both have pros & cons. Any input would be appreciated
When I see photos of Panerai watches here and other places on the net, I just don't like them.I've have now seen two in the wild and actually talked to their owners for a bit, and I must say, in person, they look sharp. They seem to have much more presence and luster up close. Today, I think the guy was wearing this one:Screen Shot 2014-07-12 at 4.55.16 PM.jpg
So im in the market for a speedmaster. I know many of you don't like the reduced. Here is my thought between the two.I want to wear them either on a nato or on a vintage leather strap.I personally like the reduced size and price as its about $1500 cheaper than the Pro. The only think its lacking imo is the case back with the first watch on the moon. I won't be wearing the watch to often just something to collect as well as to wear once and a while for a change up.Can anyone give me any pros and cons between the two.Thank youBrandon
I am shopping for a classic and timeless daily wear stainless Rolex for my wife that is mid-sized with a smooth bezel on the Oyster bracelet. I would prefer if it had a slight sporty edge to it since she already owns a formal attire watch. If R made a 36mm Sub I would buy that but they don't and she finds the YM too flashy. Looking over the men's and ladies options there are four models that seem appropriate.OP34OP36Date34DJ36Other than the later two having the date feature and the obvious (small) size difference are there any major reasons to choose one model over the other? Resale value isn't a consideration because she will own the watch forever. I understand the DJ36 and OP36 are probably the newest members of this group and until today I wasn't even aware of the Date34.Any advice would be appreciated!
