X marks the sport, or third time's a charm - either is a good way of discussing the new Kazimon Drei watch. A unique and highly functional chronograph that has so much to like, with out so much of a price. "Drei" in German means "three." I like that the watch is an interesting mix between retro and modern style cues. Let's look at the retro cues first.Look at the sapphire crystal, and you'll see that it is meant to emulate the raised and rounded look of an acrylic crystal, but it is in fact sapphire. You then have the chronograph pushers that are just like those seen on models from the 1940's - though very useful still. There is also the size of the watch that is 41mm wide. Non-Watch But still Omega
Not a watch guys, but still an Omega. (Hope thats OK)Today my beautiful, wonderful, amazing wife went into London and popped to the Omega Boutique on Old Bond Street and picked me up a little present.Unfortunately they only had the bracelet in 7" or 8" (picked up the 7") and so it is slightly too small (but its the thought that counts). Omega have said they will order the 7.5" version in for me and my wife will return the one she purchased this Monday.It will take a few weeks, but I just thought I would post some pics up as the packaging was so nice (ain't I just a big girl!!)

Transitional Models
I¡¯ve started to become interested in Rolex¡¯s transitional models, specifically GMTs and the 16753. I think one of these would be a good complement to my 116610LN and 116300 silver stick. I hope this isn¡¯t too broad of a question, but in considering a purchase, what are the questions I should be asking? Thanks for any help.

A year on the wrist - a reflection
I've had my Explorer II 16570 that I bought used for about 14 months, now, actually. I've worn it virtually every waking hour - I enjoy wearing it that much. I don't polish it, because the scratches look cool. Crystal and timekeeping are holding up great. What really inspired me to share this sentiment, though, is that I've been looking at prices on this model and it's appreciated. Wearing this watch every day has actually brought more value into my life than I originally invested in it on paper. Every man (or lady!) should experience one - you deserve it! Go Rolex!
