Emporio Armani AR1871 wrist watches news:
Hello all, I was hoping you might be able to help me with a suggestion. I need to get a 10 year old Rolex DJ serviced, and my local AD quoted me $700, so I was hoping someone might be able to suggest a source that's at least a little cheaper than that. Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but a quick search of the boards didn't turn anything up. Thanks.
Hi everyone.I have a new Planet Ocean Chrono (2210.50.00) which I've had for about three weeks now.I wear it during the day, and have been taking it off at night. Two nights ago it had stopped around 5am, so last night I wore it to bed, but again it stopped around the same time. I was under the impression the auto movement had between 40-50 hours reserve, and the user guide suggests winding only after prolonged disuse.Do other owners wind their watches regularly? Also, the user guide is a bit short on info about winding. My watch has a screw-in crown, and its my assumption that I unscrew the crown to the first click (position 1?) then wind it forwards. Sound correct?Finally...when I pull the crown out to position 3 to adjust the time, I always do it with the sweep hand on 12, align the minute hand and click the crown back in to suit a time signal. However the act of pushing the crown back in often moves the hands slightly, so that the sweep hand and minute hads go off alignment. Does a
new pick up today, was at my local thrift store and saw this ugly thing. it is a parallel worlds "the fish" and has an ISA swiss quartz chrono movement that beats 5 times a second. new battery and new band and its still ugly but ill beat the crap out of it for $2.99
Hi All,I have seen a few members here debating about the fit and sizing between the 15202 and 15400 on small wrists so I thought I would add a few shots that might help. I have a 6 3/4 wrist to put it into perspective. I found a very nice 15400 in the shop today and could compare with my Jumbo.Although the 15400 is quite a bit bigger in every way, diameter, depth, bezel and even the size of each bracelet link was a lot thicker than on Jumbo. That being said, it didn't feel out of place and, in fact, quite comfortable on my wrist as it seemed to hug around the wrist. It did add a bit of weight that may impact comfort levels when worn all day.To make a true comparison, I'd need to size the bracelet of the 15400 and give it a little wear time but first impressions were that I could probably enjoy the 15400 as much as I do the Jumbo. For the 15202, you get a smaller and more delicate version of the watch without a second hand and no screw-in crown and you pay a significant amount more for
Thanks to everyone on TRF for helping me choose between 3 fantastic choices for a new AP.. Safari, Elephant, Steel 44mm.AND THE WINNER IS!
