OMEGA SMP Quartz + LED backlight
WellI am about buy my first watch and just had a very crazy idea. I suppose there is no such thing as an "SMP tuning kit", however in "Tomorrow never dies" and "The world is not enough" the SMP quartz was shown with nice blue and white backlight. Have you ever heard of an official omega SMP (quartz) that comes with backlight?Has anyone actually did such a tuning? I would love to have that feature on my future watch, since the watch already looks cool at nigh, this would only increase the fun futher.(Try not to get too shocked when after reading my post :D :D )

Moving towards a Patek-input needed
I have been a lurker/ intermittent commenter here for a many months. I am getting pretty close to becoming a Patek owner and am looking for assistance on how the models I am contemplating will fit into my new lifestyle- and my current watches.Please consider the following:I am 50. I work in a business casual environment-own a tech consulting company. I wear a suit from time to time, and wear shorts/jeans on Fridays-but wear dress slacks and dress shirt 3-4x per week. I am hoping to travel more extensively over the next few years for pleasure.My short list of Pateks is below:5270-classic, love them but on the edge of my watch budget-probably out5164-world time travel-pretty cool casual5712-could replace my SD4K as a daily for work+Below is a picture of my current stable of watches.
