U-Boat CLASSICO CARBONO wrist watches news:
2010 marks the Centennial year of Ermenegildo Zegna, one of Italy¡¯s longest standing family-driven enterprises. Four generations of the Zegna family have directed the company¡¯s activities and created a global brand with stores in eighty six countries. To celebrate this anniversary, Zegna is launching a limited edition watch created by Girard-Perregaux. The edition is limited to 100 pieces, available exclusively in the Top 20 Ermenegildo Zegna flagship stores worldwide. This centenary watch expresses the Ermenegildo Zegna style while maintaining the spirit of a Girard-Perregaux. It also pays homage to the Zegna’s origins, as Angelo Zegna, the father of the founder Ermenegildo, was a watchmaker by trade. Any of you own one? Would love to hear your comments on this model. Sorry about the quick and dirty shot.Cheers!
I am looking for more information about a watch I acquired a few years ago, a 1979 18ct gold Concord Delirium.. At the time the guy I bought it from gave me some information about it. I was told that at the time of its creation it was an innovation in new technology and was the worlds thinnest watch. I am fairly sure it was only made for a year or so until they brought out their next model which was even thinner. Ultimately I am looking to sell the watch but not being a watch buff myself really have no idea what price I can expect to achieve. The watch its self is in very good condition and was serviced regulally, I have never worn it myself.
Are there some nice pieces available with guilloche in around the $2500.00 range?I have a new office ordered...will be my last but to get the specs I needed it went about $15k above budget so there's only around $2500.00 left and I was kinda thinking a new watch would be in order too.
Here's mine. Hoping to add another Rolex at some point.
