JeanRichard 24020 01 51500R wrist watches news:
Hi,I think it's a Hamilton K-420 but I've seen other models that people call a K-420Any help?Thankshamilton.jpg
With several members purchasing Hamilton Mt. Vernon watches, I thought you might enjoy seeing the original:New Version The original was manufactured in 1932 and only a total of 1721 were made in yellow gold filled. Movement is hand wound caliber 980 with seventeen jewels.Copy and pix not mine.
With budget and the wife's scowl I ordered the Navy Sub quartz today (from one of the ADs sent to me)...I sincerely HOPE it was a good choice, I love its looks, 200m, and saphire crystal, so in order to save about 120.00 I went with quartz. BTW what is the quartz movement in this watch?I have had GREAT luck with Seiko quartz, but don't know how comparable this is.
OK...I thought I had someone local to do battery changes and repairs and then I got a watch back with scratches. I know scratches happen, but this was not handled well The scratches were buffed out and the case looks OK, but I'm not ready for that kind of treatment again. So I found this place on the internet, (Mod Edit. Sorry not a sponsor) :(, All they do is battery changes.I'm hoping for feedback from someone who has used or uses this vendor for battery changes. They seem to have decent regular prices and they offer water resistance testing and expedited service if required.
Hey guys,On the hunt for the next watch, and I am sort of torn between these two.I love the blue dial, and the 39MM is the perfect fit for my wrists. Now the prices for the 15300 have gone quite high, and i'm not sure if they will stay there, but with the current prices for the 15300's I can't help but feel the 15202 is the way to go.A more modern AP which won't require servicing anytime soon, a really cool movement, and lastly also a watch that will more likely retain value I believe. Looking for input from you guys though! Thanks in advance
