Cartier W31074M7 wrist watches news:
My first post..hello all. I recently had the 1530 passed down to me and I am giddy about it. I was shocked when I discovered how rare it is. So..it doesn't fit me and being as rare as it is I have come to the conclusion that it will be extremely difficult to find a link or two. So I have two questions. What direction should I go about locating some links?Does my 96660 bracelet have interchangeable links with the 17000 bracelet? Thanks in advance for the help.
Greetings Everyone...Just a Newbie with probably a dumb question. Is there any big difference in the quality of the "High End" Brands, Omega, Rolex come to mind vs. Seiko's Pulsars, Citizens etc??I have browsed at the Omega's, and Rolex's, look great, but way out of my reach! The prices made my eyes pop...lol...My guess is that there maybe a lot of hand work involved in making those watches vs. automation for the more mass produced brands. As well as some being Gold Filled vs. Gold Plated etc...Just bought a Citizen Calibre 8700 and love it so far ( almost a week now ). Just curious regarding the differences.ThanksBob

I read recently that a friend of the Forum said that the 111 movement has proved to be a robust workhorse movement, easy to fix and regulate by any decent watchmaker, no need to be a slave of Richemond every time you need to adjust it or clean it etc.The model 510 is the same but is provided with an in-house P 5000 movement. It can also be served by any watchmaker or need to carry Panerai for any problem?I guess being manually winding it could handle any watchmaker specialized but rather ask the friends of the Forum. What I regret tha Panerai never made manually winding models 312 or 351. There are other models but I do not like cyclopsThank you.
I was in a NYC AD today, picked up an extra copy of the Rolex Magazine, Issue 7. It is the one with the ladies DJ on the cover. If anyone would like it, please PM me. I only ask you pay the USPS postage. It is heavy.
