Any AD's I've spoken to laugh when I ask this question. They state clearly that Patek is making watches that last a lifetime or three, and that it can surely be, or even should be, a daily watch. Further on, I'm told that many Patek owners have only one watch so clearly it's a daily. However, I have read that it should not be. I personally love my 114060 as my daily, and don't see that changing, but I'm still curious what the experts here think.

I may be in the minority, but the 36mm Day-date is perfect.
I have been a Rolex lover, admirer, and owner for over 25 years. While I like and appreciate the newest DD 41, There is something just perfect about the proportions of the original DD 36. I haven��t owned one, but would like to own one someday. While out running last-minute Christmas errands, I saw one on the wrist of a fellow shopper and just thought to myself, Man that watch is what started my love affair all those years ago.
