I mentioned them not too long ago when they released their newest model, the 150, but this is the first chance I've had to really experience wearing one of their watches. The 300 comes in a simple, elegant and understated package that consists of an uncoated gray paper sleeve over a matte rubberized paper box (the paper itself has a sort of soft, rubbery coating). The watch sits in a contour cut dense foam that holds the watch securely and could definitely be used for travel. Rotating Bezels....wide or narrow??
I really like dive watches, even though a swimming pool is as close to diving as I get. I enjoy a little brand surfing online to see what's out there, plus reading a few watch mags each month. I have come to the realization that I prefer a narrower bezel than a large one. I saw a beautiful Kobold yesterday, but the bezel was huge, overwhelming the dial. Just wondering do you like wide or narrow bezels on a diver?

Questions before taking the plunge
Been thinking for a while now about taking the step up to an AP or a Patek. Royal Oak vs Nautilus. Have tried both on and while I always leant towards PP the AP 15400 with the black dial looks like it could be the winner. I tried the watch on for a second time today but again left without it. I have always been a Rolex only guy and still have a few doubts. I am used to strapping on my explorer 2 or a datejust and not worrying about it. I don't want to spend what is to me a huge sum on the AP and only wear it on special occasions. Is the Royal Oak robust enough to wear on a daily basis? Can I get it wet (swimming etc) AP say yes on their website but what have others found? Are the serving costs as bad as I have heard?Thanks.
