Hi again :)I have a Calatrava in "White Gold". The model with the centre second hand, date and hobnail bezel.It has been my daily wearer for nearly 10 years now. So if anyone out there is wondering about the "toughness" of a Patek or of this finish I would just like to say "forgetaboutit". Sure it has a few light scratches but really it looks as good as the day I got it (even without glasses :D ) and I really wore that watch, bringing up 2 kids and a Rottweiler, playing home handyman and generally treating it like "just another watch". Gosh I even used to swim with it once I stopped using the original strap!Just recently though, thanks to my fathers generosity, I have relegated the PP to evening wear status and am using a Rolex by day, but I tell you what, this Sub will sure have to live up to it's reputation if it is going to look as good a decade from now, as the Patek does today ;-)

Hooked up my 15202ST 0944ST to a timegrapher...Is it safe to say that I can hold off on servicing for a bit longer? It's an F series and 10 years old, never been serviced.Note : I borrowed the timegrapher from a friend. Anyone have the Frederique Constant Analytics? Got a Message from a forum member that he has a bracelet for me (I had posted something on the WTB). The charm of the safari had always been the brown strap. This looks like a completely different watch.......but I am liking it. The weight is now substantial and feels great on the wrist. Honest opinions and thoughts please. I've temporarily traded my Chrono Avenger for an Omega speedmaster Schumacher Legend on SS bracelet to a collector in Edmonton.Temporarily, meaning both sides have agreed that after two months and if one side decides to want their original babies back, we can do so.I'm waiting for the Speedmaster to arrive and see how it looks and feels. I'm particularly interested in the FP 3301 movement on it with the 9,6 and 3 subdial arrangement with the date at six o'clock. There were reported issues about chrono functionality due to the column wheel, but it has since fixed by Omega.Will post pictures when it comes and we'll see if after two months whether I long for my CA again.
