The design was very modern for the time, but was not a popular model with consumers. The depression wasn't great for sales, either. It was one of two models ever offered by the company that utilized a center-notched strap. It is highly sought after by todays vintage Hamilton collectors. The design was updated and released several years ago by the company with an automatic movement and chronograph version, and made considerably larger at 36mm x 50mm. They have been discontinued.

Well since it¡¯s introduction day¡­ I will introduce myself too. Hi all I¡¯m Rob from Dallas. I was always interest in watches just never the expensing ones, well that was till I bought my first on a cruise in the Caribbean. I bought a Tag Heuer from a AD in Belize. Next I had this old 1970 Accutron Cusion Case Spaceview my brother gave me 20 years ago.. didn¡¯t work hence I got it. Started some research and low and behold it¡¯s a cool watch to have. Anyhow a few watches later I now need to get a second job .

Couldn't resist this one, not Rolex this time but damn is this watch beautiful to look at. When I set it next to my DSSD it makes it look like a Submariner.
