Need German watch ideas
Hey guys im new the WTF and I would like some recommendations on a new German watch for my 16th birthday! I am look for a watch no more than about $300 USD. I dont know any watch terms but I like plain watches and not busy ones like Citizen. I currently own a Bulova 43B114 nothing special but it is my first actual watch. The reason I am looking for a german watch is because I LOVE German culture. I am taking German in school and I will be visiting Germany within the next two years. Two vintagers, one NIB
I shoot sporting clays with a 1964 Browning Lightning Broadway Trap, which has been rebuilt once and is due for attention again. The other day, I visited my gun dealer and he had an identical Browning - except it had never been handled, let alone shot. It is a 1967 gun and goes quite well with my vintage Submariner, which I frequently wear when shooting. The "new" Browning is why you won't be seeing many new watches from me for a while. It shoots like a dream and all I have to decide now is how far to open up the top (full) choke:

Does anyone have an recent experience with this particular store? I'm leaving for Oahu this weekend and want to check it out. However, we are staying on the opposite side of the island so was planning on climbing Diamond Head in the morning, grabbing lunch at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel then stopping by afterwords. The problem is I'll probably be dressed like a bum since we are hiking in the morning so I'm a bit hesitant of even stopping in if they are going to be rude since I really don't care for any negativity on my vacation. Are the salespeople here friendly and allow shoppers to try on different models? Also, if we end up shopping in Waikiki until dinner does anyone have any good restaurant recommendations?
