Swiss Watch or Other
I don't have much time to search the forums but I'm in Germany for work and wanted to by a watch Swiss preferred but not stuck on swiss made I know I can get them back in the states but I want something to remember this trip for life I would like to spend about 500 euro or so. I would like a brad that is not as common as Omega or Tag, but not against them, this would be my 1st major watch purchase, I have a couple of citizens (don't laugh to hard) and i have started to think about going to the next level with watches and I thought this might be a good time.

Your Favorite Watch Band...
Calfskin, pigskin, leather, boar, ostrich, alligator, crocodile, ss, titanium, or any other exotic material I might have missed....So with all of the choices in watchbands out there, which is your favorite? And how do you pick the color for the watch?My new favorite is wild boar, or sometimes called peccary. Very soft, supple, nicely grained and alot of colors all at a great price. I'm thinking that many of my vintage watches will be seeing these bands...

Turning the Bezel on a Speedie Pro??
Hi Everyone. Quick question for you experts on the 3570.50 moonwatch:The tachymetre graduations of 60 and 120 on my bezel aren't dead center on the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock lines. I have one of those rubber tools that is used to remove the bezels from divers watches. If I grabbed the Speedie's bezel with this, could I just turn it slightly? Is it just simple a friction fit?I want to make sure there is nothing I would damage by doing this (such as adhesive or whatever).thanks!

I received my father's GMT upon his passing. It could probably use a an overhaul. It is a 1987 Serial # R16760A. I realize I don't have any pics right now, but could add some in future.
