Piaget G0A37003 wrist watches news:
We congratulate Gary F. from Lancashire, England who was the lucky random winner of the Traser Red Combat watch we gave away on watches-dealer last month in February. Please check our March Victorinox Swiss Army Officer's Day/Date Mechanical watch giveaway here.
Hi all,I just have a minute before rushing out, so this will be short. Maybe I will add to it later tonight.I'm new to this watch thing, and there are so many different watches out there that it has taken me weeks just to get a good idea of what I like. In the mean time I have purchased six watches. I find that I am really starting to like these German watches. Stowa and Sinn being among my favs and also liking Junkers and Graf Zeppelin at the lower prices. My question is - what German brands am I missing? I need to stay under $1k.Also if anybody has any comments on the brands I mentioned, I would love to hear them. Thanks
Non-Hamilton Sunday today. thankfully work has now finished and I'm home at 12:05am.
I finally got my new divers. I am very pleased with the overall quality of these guys. The Deporte is powered by the ST16 movement and the 32 Degrees have the Miyota 8205. BTW, what is the difference between the 8215 and the 8205 anyway? The 32 Degrees divers are HUGE! I am more of a 35mm (dress) & 40-42mm (sporty) kind of guy so I'm not sure I'll be able to wear them. It just feels too big on my wrist and I'm afraid I won't be able to pull it off. They are 47mm wide (50mm including crown)!!!!! The Deporte is ~44mm wide but does not wear nearly as big. I think it is because it is sort of boxy and doesn't have long lugs. The lume on these divers are nice. The Deporte hands glow like they are radioactive but the printed dial fades within a few minutes. The 32 Degrees dial and hands are more evenly matched and glow very brightly. The crowns on the 32 degrees screw down without a hitch, like my Invicta 8926. But this Deporte has a bad first thread. It takes a few tries to get it going but
Hello all,This is my first post. I wasn't sure if there was where this post should go, but I figured it would be close enough.I enjoy watches, but I also enjoy crafting.I am currently researching and gathering information as I look towards building my own watch display box with the hope of slowly filling it with beautiful time pieces over the span of my life. I am going off of what seems popular (see picture below).Attachment 107858A quality, timeless look and design is what I want to create. A nice brown stain wood. A real glass viewing window. - I am thinking of making hold 9 watches in a 3 x 3 configuration.- I am considering having the board the watches are held in lift out to grant access to a hidden compartment underneath that stores the bands, straps and other accessories.- I am contemplating uses genuine leather around spongey fabric around wood that the watches will sit around. Much like the way the inserts in the above image are shaped.I was thinking of lining the inside of t
