Chopard 161907-0001 wrist watches news:
However, to keep the watch as precise as possible in practice, the IWC engineers decided to stop automatically after precisely 168 hours or seven days. As the rest of the gang, the pilot of Big Blue will come in a stainless steel case large enough 46.2 x 15.8 mm. In addition to the shows with an undeniable sense of presence, this brilliantly finished huge steel case also cache a soft extra iron safety cage which greatly increases the anti-magnetic properties of the watch. Of course, his iconic chunky winding diamond-shaped Crown is its usual place ready to dig in the back of your hand.
I just returned from vacation, based in Las Vegas and did a lot of watch looking. In the Tourneau store in the Forum Shops at Caesar's, I spent quite a bit of time at the Hamilton section. I am happy to say that Hamilton occupies 4 showroom cases with a very nice selection. Pricing? That is another subject.I asked one of the sales persons the REAL price of a watch marked $995. He laughed and said "THAT IS THE PRICE. THE BEST I COULD DO IS DISCOUNT THE TAX (7.5%)". I chuckled.
Hello Gang...Time for a new Spotlight. This is one of those Illinois that proves you don't have to break the bank to get a really cool watch!First of all if you don't have a copy of Fred's book, you are missing the boat."The Illinois Watch, The Life and Times of a Great American Watch"This beauty can be seen on page 126 and this is the watch shown lower left. The first thing you will notice is the incredibly cool Art Deco Numerals. This is the Commodore (non metal band) in WGFIt comes from the "Modern" period of Illinois watches and was made in 1931Sides:Back:Model Number 616 (Keystone/J. Hi folks, at last I'm a member of the forum.I had a bit of trouble with my comfirmation email, but here I am. I have collected watches now for around 8 years, continualy swapping and selling my collection. I have never stuck with any one brand and not all my watches are expensive. in fact some were down right cheap, but since they have all but disappeared their values have risen. My two latest additions are a Technomarine raft Chronograph 2003 vintage boxed and papered and a Must de cartier gold on Silver manual wind Tank 1982 vintage boxed and papered, both watches in mint condition. I have never photographed or catlogued my watches, which is a terrible admission bearing in mind I am a photographer my trade but I will and post on here as soon as I have time (Busy work schedule) Anyway there we are, glad to be here and I hope I can learn from the the real masters on here.Cheers Brian
Glanced over the SIHH thread and have seen it mentioned and seen it on the AP site but does anyone have a link to the new 15400 grey ruthenium dial option?
