Bell & Ross BR01-93 GMT AND BR01-92 Gold Ingot Watches: So opposite, So The Same
Both of these watches are Bell & Rosses, and both are BR01 watches. Though they are like twins separated at birth. One went the path of luxury while the other spent their years in a discipline rich military environment. I like that two personalities can come from the same type of origin, and both are useful watches in their own respect. The first watch is a new one, but it was announced a while back. it is the Bell & Ross BR01-93 GMT. Previous to this, only the BR03 watch had a GMT model, and it was a bit smaller than the BR01.The BR01-93 GMT is currently one of my favorite watches in the BR01 lineup. It looks good, is easy to read, and simply feels fun. I use the terms fun a lot these days when discussing watch. What I mean is a design that embellishes on its theme in a charming and polished manner. For example, the GMT hand didn't need to be made as big, or in orange, but it was, and it works well that way. Hamilton Ventura Case Closing
Hello,I am new to this forum though I have collected watches for several years. I own a Hamilton Ventura from the 1988-1990 era with the pressed fit case. I opened up the case to the change the battery with the idea of having a jeweler close it back up. I own a watch case press with round dies but was fearful of trying to close it myself. The first jeweler wouldn't even try and sent me to a second store which specializes in watches, (they even had several of the new Ventura watches in stock). After about 6-7 minutes in the back room, the guy returned and said he couldn't close it. Now I am afraid to take it anywhere else. My hope is that someone on this forum may own this watch and can share their "trick" on how to close this particular watch. I really miss wearing it!Thanks In Advance,Dennis C

I'm not quite sure how tourbillons work. Can anyone shed some light on the mechanics and purpose of a tourbillon? Are they really that effective?

What Do You Think About The Olympic Offerings..
I think that Omega has gone overboard on the LE and other gimmicks to sell watches.....including the latest Beijing offerings..However, I do like the dials of some of them.. The 5 sub dials that look like the Olympic rings is interesting, and the AT tri-compac chorono face is nice...I just can't get past the silly rings hanging on the end of the second hand.. I feel the same way about the 007.It takes a classy timepiece. One that Omega is trying to climb the ladder back into the luxury watch category, and gives it a Mickey Mouse flavor..

Why will you buy from?
I just went to my Ad to look for a rolex Gmt Batman and he told me I could ordered and have it in two months, my question is why will you buy from some here when you can have it new with your name in the card for 1500 less?
