Getting down to my one and only. . .
Several times I have mentioned that I could make do with my 300 MC as my one and only because it is so versatile.Well it looks like that is about to happen. The bills from my heart surgery have begun to arrive and I need to free up some cash.Hopefully, I will be able to hang on to the 300 MC.As my wife says, watches are only stuff and you should never let your stuff own you.

I was starring at my watch collection one day that included patek, AP, breguet and rolex and realized that patek is by far the most amazing watch and brand. I then decided to sell and trade all of my collection for pateks. That was two years ago for me. I know realize that it is the only brand I am interested in. The more I learn about the brand and history the more impressed I am. I realize now that I am no longer a watch enthusiast but a patek enthusiast. Every now and then I am tempted by another brand, but I realize I am just wasting my time because as soon as I buy anything else I will end up trading it for a patek. I don't even buy watch magazines anymore or visit non-patek watch stores.I now understand this statement for myself There are only two types of watches, patek and everything elseHas this happened to anyone else?

In one of the comments I read that referring to the shortage of the Daytona model there is a waiting list in the dealers. The commentator said that many people write on that list but that the time to pay most will pass. It seems strange to me but the question is that if you have to leave a money as a reservation, I do not think anyone wants to lose it.
