Breguet 3820ST/H2/SW9 wrist watches news:
Hi guys, I'm new.I always wanted a nice watch and I recently bought a Kenneth Cole watch. It said it was Japan movement, but would anyone happen to know the quality of this movement? What are your thoughts on these watches? Also, after trolling thru this forum, I decided to buy an Orient blue mako (the old one). I love how the new one looks, but it's a bit too expensive for me. I bought to old one for $100 shipped new through eBay. After watching youtube videos (pics can't capture the looks for the face), I decided to buy it. You all know what it looks like but here's a stock pic anyway.Next watch I am planning to buy is the Seiko monster. After seeing the apparent hype around this forum, I decided to look into it. It seemed ugly to me at first, but it started to grow on me. I like it now, it looks really rugged.I was thinking of this "neo monster" version. What color is this face, by the way, is it blue or black? Also, what do you guys think about Casio G-Shock? I've liked them since I w
Hi guys (gals), As you can see I am a first time poster. I come in peace. Not trying to start a war between Ball fans and Breitling fans. I've decided to stop buying a new $250-300 watch every couple of years and take the leap into a more valuable watch. I'm looking for a watch that can be an everyday wear watch but also an evening watch. My price range is $4,000 (+ or - $1000). I'd like a watch that I could pass down to my son one day. I've done a lot of research and looking and think I've narrowed it down to 2 watches. They both are very similar looking (hopefully the links work). My problem is I don't know how they differ "under the hood" and how important the differences are. The 2 watches I am considering are the Ball Ceramic XV and the Breitling Superocean GMT. Hopefully the links work and you can see the exterior similarities and can explain the importance of any internal differences. Any advise or opinions would be greatly appreciated.Superocean GMT - Breitling
I noticed that the clasp on my SMP is really heavy duty. The clasp is thick and the buckle is meaty. The divers extension link is also sturdy, who else has noticed that this is one hell of a watch.
Would it be ok to get the Omega 2221.80 for every day wear on Wall Street? Or would it be smarter to get the 212.30 version? I'm just worried that the blue is not conservative enough. Sorry if some of you think that this is ridiculous but I am serious. I like both watches a lot but like the blue a touch more but I don't want to get it it may draw negative attention.
Is there a date range that certain models got serif fonts?
