Omega 323.32.40.40.06.001 wrist watches news:
Aeromarine SeawolfCan anyone help me to confirm how much does this watch worth (Pre-Loved)Thanks
Some of you may have noticed I been posting a lot, well work owed me some vacation time. So been taking advantage of that and working on some watch projects. This is my Grand Fathers white gold watch, probably sat in his jewelry box for 25 plus years and in mine for another 20 plus. The crystal was yellow discolored and falling off, the face was also in very poor condition, you could not even read South Bend anymore. To my luck I found the exact face in near mint condition and required a new crystal. Some clean-up and servicing it's back in order. My Grand Father loved this watch he inquired a few years after he got to American. He did however comment to my Dad he should have kept his Doxa Gold railroad watch instead of trading it for the South Bend. I'm glad that I was able to restore it to the watches former glory, Hopefully the watch will be in the family as a heirloom for another 100 plus years.Your will see in the pictures the original chain, pocket knife, and one diamond cufflink .
I've started to take note of those watches that say Swiss on the dial. I've always thought that manual wind Swiss movements were post-70's but I've seen the word on some earlier models, like Dan's Paxton in the Sales Forum. I've also noticed that some models have it while others of the same model do not, like my Boyd vs. other Boyds I've seen. I don't really have a specific question but would love to hear some discussion regarding when and where Swiss manual wind movements were used before the 70's.
Picked this up off of TZ just this weekend....it is soooo gorgeous! Only complaint is the crown is hard to work but i am still loving this watch! Here are some pics....enjoy!
Well... It arrived yesterday. My heart is definitely with AP, but since selling my Diver, I've missed a rubber strap piece that works with a lot of clothing, water, etc.. Puffy's long review was a huge help, as was chatting with Mike, Michael Ian and Gus. Thanks guys! And also a huge thanks to one of our favorite enablers, DavidSW. Here are a few pics solo, as well as with a couple of my APs. Looking forward to hanging around the PP forum more, and I'm sure the PP sickness has just begun.
