Hublot 301.Ei.5190.RB wrist watches news:
Folks, something special for a lucky aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer winner sponsored by GnomonWatcheswatches-dealer. This giveaway is for one brand new, just released Dievas Zeta Automatic diver watch. Isn't she pretty? The winner gets their choice of Zeta Professional watch, from the Phantom, Code Red, or Desert Storm models. The new watch features a black PVD coated stainless steel 44mm wide case and bracelet. You'll get your choice of Zeta Professional watch model that is all black, as opposed to the standard Zeta model that is not PVD coated. The rotating diver's bezel has a scratch resistant ceramic insert, while the dial utilizes tritium gas tubes as lume. Tritium gas tubes are filled with a special gas that glows brightly without the need to be charged by light, and lasts for about 25 years. Inside the watch is a Japanese Miyota (Citizen's movement making group) automatic mechanical movement - that I can attest to having a good rate quality. Learn more about the brand new Dievas Zeta
I really want tone of those, any advice on where or how to get one brand new?
Hi all. Well this little kiwi's pecked his way through 1000 posts, so to celebrate (or commiserate if you're tired of my views and my funny accent ), here's where I'm at today with my (modest) collection. Many of these watches were obtained with help & advice from some of you, so as always, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING . In no particular order:Tag Heuer 'Spirotechnique'Seiko quartz chronoOris Titan 300mCasio G-Shock G-1000Breitling SuperoceanEL Park Avenue (WTF #12)Seiko 5 'Aviator' SNK807K2Seiko Quartz Chrono (circa mid-80's)Citizen Wingman (1990)Casio SeaPathfinder SPF-60It's been great fun so far, and I'm hoping to add a Rolex GMT Master II & a Sinn UTC857 in the future, but as always: no $$$ = no Thanks for stopping by,The ol' mutt.
Hey guys,I picked up an old Marathon mil spec watch from the bay and was going to try and get it going. Seems to just need a service. It will run for a while if wound but feels dry when winding. A buddy of mine suggested spraying butane into the movement to clean and lube it at the same time. He claimed it was an old watchmaker's trick and recommended being careful of the dial. This sounds like pure lunacy to me. has anyone ever heard of anything like that? Thanks!Dan
Hello everyone, totally new to Omega. I have my eyes on the new sea-master recently, and wonder how much could be knocked down for AD? Does cash make a difference? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you
