Yesterday my Eichmuller German Army 500 M dive watch came from Germany. This is the first German watch I have ever owned. My initial impression was very positive. I have now sized the bracelet and worn it for two days. I am very pleased with the look, quality and feel of the watch.The case is 43mm brushed stainless steel and 13mm height. The movement is the quartz Seiko-Epson VX 43 E. The watch ships with a good quality matching stainless steel bracelet and a rubber dive strap. The watch is rated at 500 M.These watches are available on the German ebay site ( pull it up, right click on the auction and through Bling you can get an English tranlation ) from seller designundhightech. My contact was a very friendly lady named Karin who speaks fluent English. The seller has 100% positive feedback for over 4 K transactions. There I was, minding my own business, when up flashed the "No Brainer" deal banner. I jumped at it and I am now the owner of a Jacques Lemans Sydney Collection three-hand automatic at a very reasonable price.The Sydney Collection is not Swiss made and obviously comes from the far east branch of Jacques Lemans. I can't confirm it because I can no longer find the write-up, but I believe this particular model uses a Miyota 8200-series movement. Probably the 8215. Help!! ROO Team Alinghi 26062 Carbon
Hi guys,New to this forum and never won an AP in my life. Happened to see someone selling the ROO Alinghi Carbon and wondering if some experienced folks here can get me some guidance. 1) What's the upside and downside for having a Carbon ROO2) How bad does this watch depreciate its value, worth buying this versus a brand new ROO?3) Is this worth buying and what's a reasonable price range for this4) I saw on forum saying carbon bazel is not recommended given it can be dented quite easily, is that mean i shouldn't be buying one online?5) Most importantly, what is the difference between the ones with Red/White Alinghi logo and those only in Red? Wish someone here can give me some expertise as i basically know nothing about AP watches. Thanks for your help!
