The crown also looks like a skull. Bell Ross and Daniel Strom have introduced a new motto to the collection: "Quod tu es, ego fui, quod ego sum, tu eris" translated as "I was what you are, and what I am you shall be." The motto has been suggested by the statement on the tombstone of a famous Roman legionary.

So much for getting that Patek or RG DD sooner than later A couple weeks back, my Mom lost one of her diamond earrings, and she keeps telling me that she doesn't believe in 'insuring' her jewellery since no one in Sri Lanka does that - simply because the insurance companies cannot afford to payout to any claims, although they will gladly accept the annual premiums.So today we were at my usual haunt for a spot of Sushi and was able to get her to follow me past the De Beers boutique, when I popped in and let her choose a pair of diamonds for herself.I think she's happy By the end of next week I should be collecting something I've had them make as a custom order for moi. Unfortunately they are experiencing slight delays for items coming back from the Assay offices...so hopefully it'll be sooner than later!

What do you guys think about designer watches
I been a lurker for some time now, I love looking at watches and reading about their history. I only own 3 watches Tissot,Hamilton and Christopher ward. My question is what do you think about designer watches like Kenneth Cole,Armani,ect. Are they all made in china??Gladiator aka Adam I learn alot about watches by reading all your posts, I would love to meet you one day and ask for your autographand then tell you that i'm your son.

Repairs of 60's PP
Hello,Usually over on the Rolex side but have a very plane gents gold PP purchased by my father in the early 60's that was serviced once about 20 years ago. It looks nice but runs very slow. Would like to service it for him as 75th[IMG][/IMG] birthday surprise but not sure I want to spend the money to send it to a PP service center. Does anyone have any alternative service suggestions.[IMG][/IMG]
