Cartier W20098D6 wrist watches news:
Since my son has been on Spring Break from school for the past week, we decided to fly down to Orlando FL to spend a few days with my father. Here's my son reading "Dilbert" while we wait to board our flight:Grabbed a quick shot of our choice of wrist wear for the flight - me in my GMT Master II, and he in his "training Rolex" Invicta 8926:The next morning we made a bee line for the pool!I think I kinda got the camera wet when I took this one....Oh well...since the camera is wet, might as well see how it works underwater! The pool water temperature was perfect!!!Submerged wrist shot of the Submariner:Shot from the bottom of the pool:The next day we did some golfing at a small and less than spectacular (read cheap) course which was a good choice to dust the cobwebs off our game - first round of the year for both John and I:The course had quite a bit of water:After spotting these two big fellas trying to stay warm on this overcast day, we decided not to go after any balls which landed n
All I know is that it is a 24k gold watchMy father bought it in an antique shop long time ago in it's original box but it does not say anything on the box or the back of the watch! Here are the pics!Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video HostingImage - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video HostingImage - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video HostingAnd it would be great if someone can roughly estimate how much it's worth!
i was looking up some stuff about the old FHF 905 movement when i cam across this. google/url?sa=t&rct=j...XijiXg&cad=rjathey use an FHF 905 from the 60s and 're-work' it as they say.
Can Anybody tell few wards about Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 1875-1995 Edition Limitee? Do collector's value?
Anyone else experiencing OCD-issues when looking at the notches not perfectly aligning on the Bezel? One would think that Rolex would nail this one, but my experience is that it’s completely random whether or not your notches on the bezel are aligned correctly. Have seen a dozen of Seikos getting this right, same goes for my DeepBlue Daynight. My own hulk lines up 90% perfect, but look at the attached image - this image is used by Rolex themselves on their website Not hating Rolex for this, but I thought we could expect near impeccable work from such a watchmaker.EDIT: Please post photos of your own Rolex and how it lines up.
