- This watch truly makes a statement. The face is beautiful. It goes with everything. It's a little heavier then other watches I've owned, but you get use to it.

Vintage AP is having a moment. About a month ago, we took you inside the private collection of Audemars Piguet themselves with this detailed video and break-down. Today, the folks at Bexsonn have a look at some more vintage beauties from AP, this time not from the museum collection, but rather owned by Marcus Margulies, owner of Marcus of London.Marcus's vintage AP collection is regarded as the finest in the world, and he was buying them years ago when no one else was. Here is a two-year-old look we did at some of his other pieces, but we strongly recommend you head over to Bexsonn to have a look at what are truly some of the most beautiful calendar watches we've ever seen.Read BEXSONN's Story About The Vintage Calendar Watches Owned By Marcus Here.
I am a big fan of US made Cresarrow cased IWC watches in 14k, 18k and Platinum..........Some in my collection have Tiffany dials and Raymond Yard dials. This early rare one with a 64T movement has a Cartier dial. Case is 18K. One of my favorites so far. Went for a very low price on the ebay not too long ago. I welcome comments. For some reason IWC collectors shy away from these US made cases and perfer to pay much more for swiss cased watches. I am not sure exactly why??? In my collection I have cal. 62, 401, 87, 84, 82, 86, 83 & 94 movements. I am not sure when Cartier first used the Cabochon jewel tipped crown? This crown is the original in 18k. Arabic numbers instead of Roman numbers is also very rare.
Hi all. Recently I obtained a Mitsukohsi Dial/Hand package kit for a conversion project I wanted to do on my modern 3570.50 (watch purchased new in 2013). I purchased the full set of dial and hands in one bulk buy from someone who originaly bought from Ofrei but never got around the doing the project. I made sure all the parts were intended for the cal 1861 movement and though it would be all set. I sent the watch off the my local maker a few days ago. Today he says the dial is not fitting correctly and the hands wont fit.Upon some research I see the hands are commonly a little too tight to fit and require some 'encouragement' by filing down the holes so they are ever so slightly bigger, as noted here in reply number 4forums.watchuseek/f20/spe...t-2592618.htmlWhat I am confused about is the dial fit. In an email back it readsAs for the dial, the dial feet are mounted in the wrong place. The problem with the dial feet is that they place the dial below center on the movment (i.e. to far
