Breitling A22362 wrist watches news:
Right now, we're in a golden age for dive watches. Companies such as Giovino, Palladium and others have made it possible to start your own company with as few as 400 watches, and the Internet has enabled the global reach that lets a niche company flourish. There are many out there, but for this post I'd like to collect my current favorites, representing a range of styles and prices, and in no particular order.Ocean7 LM-1 PVD with PVD sapphire bezelWhy I like itThis one is kind of like buying a car - tons of options, both pre and post sale.Sapphire bezel. PVD case or cold-hardened steel. Optional chronometer-rated movement. Killer luminosity. Good bracelet. Great price ($1,322 maxed out). User-changeable bezels to mix up the look. Workhorse ETA 2824 movement. What's not to like?Things I dislikeYou can see some distortion from the curvature of the crystal, and I'd prefer just white hands instead of Plongeur style orange. Beautiful weather here and enjoying a great Mexican lunch with my German watchSent from my iPhone4 using Tapatalk
Couldn't stand the weight of the SS Diver. Waited for what seemed like ages for this to show up. Almost lost it, but I snatched it up right quick. And I must say this one is a keeper. Thanh Do is the man!
Working from home today, and constantly distracted by looking at the ROOC, I decided to take a camera and shoot a bush league video showing how it reacts to different viewing angles and lighting. Will get a better cam next time. Was trying to how how the bezel refracts light differently at different angles, and show some of the milling we all have come to love about AP in the steel pieces. Also next time, will shoot one outside, the markers and bezel react differently altogether when under blue skies, as well as the dial, it is beautiful.I thought pictures don't do this watch justice, and was hoping video would, but it still falls short. Just thought posting this up might help other people in their searches, I sure wish I had more content to look at than the same 15 pictures of this watch on the net.Where possible, try to up the video quality for best resolution, try 720p if possible.
We see lots of individual Rolex incoming threads here on TRF, has anyone started a Rolex owners group outgoing thread? Share your thoughts on the watch, why you are saying farewell and generally any insights you might think that could help others in their watch selling or purchasing decisions. All in one ongoing thread for quick simple reference. If not let's start one here.
