- This watch is quite the eye catcher. I'm often asked where I got it. I've purchased this same watch 5 times. I love the large face and black hands. Time is very visible to me without putting glasses on.

Panerai PAM 00164 wrist watches news:
Minute repeater watches sound the time back to you in a little song. Music box watches just play little songs. Each of these watches are nice in their own regard, but if you want to get a?musically?capable watch that is somewhat budget friendly (relatively speaking) then, a music box watch is the way to go. Music box watches are also comparatively much more rare, making the availability of a minute repeater seem much more easily obtainable by comparison.Swiss-based Boegli specializes in "musical watches". Each of the wrist and pocket watches that they produce contain traditional drum and pin music players. This new Grand Opera watch is their first ever round wrist watch. Their previous watches were only available in squarish rectangular cases. In addition to the new shape (which looks a lot more wearable than the angular models), the Grand Opera has a handy feature which allows you to start and stop the music playing (at will) by using a pusher. Presumably, past models just let the spr
We've reviewed many Christopher Ward watches since we started worn&wound, but somehow we've never reviewed one of their most popular models; the C60 Trident Pro. Well, it's time to correct that. This watch is not just exceedingly popular because of its classic diver looks, it's also because it offers a tremendous value that few other watches can compete with. Swiss made, Selitta SW200 movement, 4mm thick sapphire crystal make this $535-$635, strap option depending, a great deal.Christopher Ward doesn't dance around the inspiration of the Trident line with language like "based on a certain famous watch" they go straight for it, saying that the watch takes its cues from the 1954 Rolex GMT Master. This is clearer in the C60 Trident GMT models, as they have GMT hands and a similar bezel (though the iconic "pepsi" version seems to have been discontinued). The 3-hand model we are looking at today has more similarities to the Submariner, but in both cases C Ward has done a great job of ta
Morning Watch Peeps,Just a quickie regarding the above, is the movement based on the Valjoux 7750?ThankSi
Before:After:I was not very happy with the uneven colors of hands & dial as well as weak lumme on my Military Mark watch, (I hated especially the goofy light green color used on hour markers. I like them off white during the dayand only turning to green at night.I had the dial re-lummed with Noctilumina G8UF (and B8UF on 24 hour hand) and 24 hourhand painted from black to red. Noctilumina is a LOT longer lasting than luminova or superluminova. It will last bright the whole night vs. Luminova that fades rather fast.In the process also all the writing from the dial was taken out for more of a clean - 'no-name' look."After 4" images were taken and e-mailed to me by the fellow who did the re-lumming and all partsare now on their way to my watchmaker.. . . Hope to have the assembled watch and pictures of it here soon !!
