For any collector this is a rare find. The bracelet is 1175/640 also extremely rare and the correct one by the way. These bracelets sell for 1000 USD alone and not in mint condition like this one. The watch was part of a private collection and was never worn. It was serviced every couple of years and all the seals inside were changed by a Omega Authorized Service. The movement is cal. 861 and is in a new condition. The watch also has the original anti-magnetic movement dust-cover . Original hesalite crystal has the omega logo on the inside and has absolutely not a single scratch. Not even micro scratches. Ref. Number is 145.022-69ST and movement serial is 3161

Have anyone ever seen this Omega box?
Just bought this box. I know I've seen this box in sterling silver before and it dates to the early 1940's but never in Gold? Just curious about the box and looking for clues to get more detail about it. It seems to have these minor corrosion markes here and there in tiny specks I've spent an hour or so researching and no luck in the box and color combo this appears to be.

I don't like Patek Philippe's slogan
While I am a keen admirerer of the watches that Patek Philippe craft (some of the most beautiful watches ever to see the light of day), I can't help but feel frustrated by their famous slogan You never actually own a Patek Philippe, you merely look after it for the next generation. Sure, most people recognize it so seen from that perspective it does its job. However, it is of my persuasion that once I purchase a watch of this calibre, it is mine to keep. It is in my possession, meaning that I can do whatever I want with it. I can smash it with a hammer, throw it in a lake or give it to a random stranger. It is MY watch, I'm not just a temporary keeper of it. How do you feel about it?
