question about a navitimer back cover
Hi,I'm new to this forum and was just exploring a little, when I saw the thread where alvin got a Navitimer from his brother, that turned out to be fake.What caught my eye is that a friend of mine has a navitimer that has the same style of back as the one alvin received. It is stated that this is the back from a b-1 and not that of a Navitimer. I was wondering if any Navitimers ever had this style of back or if my friend's is probably a fake as well.Thanks for any helpPaul

WTB a pre owned Oris
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and to watch collecting in general ( just caught the fever but I've got it bad.). I was hoping, probably fruitlessly, that someone might have a used Oris, preferably a newer sportier model but I'm open to any alternatives, for a reasonable price. I just started collecting in the last few months, I got interested after picking up a nice Citizen Eco Drive perpetual calendar diver with like 10 functions, which showed me the possibilities in a watch. I became obsessed after seeing the JLC Gyrotourbillon which showed me the incredible art and design that is dedicated to these tiny machines, just fantastic. I'm even looking into Watchmaking school. I realized I won't be able to afford the kind of collection I'd like in my current profession, I'm a Sous-Chef at a small restaurant in a small town in Ontario, and Watchmaking seems a good fit for my personality as well as the ideal profession for a watch lover. Tang buckles
Hi everyone, I got a 5726on strap recently and the straps are somewhat too big for my small wrist, so I bought a small size composite strap for my deployment clasp but would like to have nice tang buckles to use with the alligator and composite straps. I found some on the net for 10 euros but they are far from being nice, the problem is that a Patek tang in WG, they don't do SS, is 830 euros, does anyone know where I can find very nice but not too expensive, 50-100$ tang buckles in 18mm size?Thanks in advance for your replies
