A member on another (non-watch) forum has this vintage Waltham Chrono and is looking for a bit of info. Can anyone provide the vintage, model, any other pertinent info. I'd like to be more help but Waltham really isn't my area of specialty.

Oris cleaning
Hey I wonder where the Oris crowd goes to get their watches clean and oiled. I reached out to Oris and their authorized rep and was told about $100 but usually more like $400. I know my coworkers has sent his Oris' in form time to time, he said its been always more then he'd thought and the turn around time he felt was very slow. So rather then going back to Oris are there any other recommendations? The watch runs fine I just think that it could use some maintenance to keep it that way. The fact it cost $1200 new in '95 $400 seems a bit high. I'd heard to figure about 10% of the retail for a service. The more it cost the more you should expect to pay. Thanks in advance for your responses

I've about given up on my search for an auto or manual wind watch without a date, that I really like, and that is in my price range. So, I'm considering the following, and would like opinions:Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic, Tissot Le Locle, Christopher Ward C5 or one of the various EL (sorry, I forget how to spell out the name) automatics.I may be able to squeeze in an EL quartz as well...Thanks for any opinions!

Having Trouble Deciding
Hello Friends,I'm having trouble deciding between the Pam 88 with brown leather strap or the Pam 312 with the black leather strap. I currently have the Rolex Yacht-Master Plat and the 18k/SS Daytona. I was looking for more of a rugged watch and that's why i liked the 88, but than i came across the 312. I tried on the 328 today (with steel bracelet) and the 88 today in an AD, but it was tough to decide when they didn't have the 312. I know it's the same watch, but the steel bracelet makes the watch much heavier and has a different look. Now i can't decide. Does someone have both? Your thoughts?Thanks in advance.
