TAG Heuer CAF 2110 BA 0809 wrist watches news:
Sponsored PostWhy Grand Seiko? That¡¯s probably the most common question we hear at Timeless. Grand Seiko is probably the single most disruptive brand in the entire luxury watch industry, and it seems like every watch collector has a strong opinion on the topic. We have an opinion on it too: we are obsessed with GS. In fact, we are so fascinated with the brand that we¡¯ve written well over 20 articles about them, not including this one. We hang out on Seiko forums. We host parties with Grand Seiko where a master GS watchmaker assembles watches in front of an audience. We¡¯re even building an independent website that will be the ultimate resource for Grand Seiko and will put all information about the brand, past and present, into one convenient place. But that doesn¡¯t really answer the question. Why Grand Seiko? To really appreciate why we, and a huge number of other watch collectors, love GS, I think you¡¯ve got to consider at least a few separate factors: the history, the movements, and th
Hi, just received this lovely old Roamer Chrono and I love it. I did have a mint one a few years back, but due to me (stupidly) thinking that it was too big, sold it :( :(Anyhoo, received this one today and I'm loving it all over again:Pretty chunky for an oldie at 46mm inc crown and it houses a Valjoux 7734 movement that appears to be keeping great time (well at least over the few hours I have had it) It was on a Nato, but I have scrapped that and put it on a mock-kevlar, which I think suits it nicely :DThe bezel insert has gone a brassy colour, and I was going to try to source and original insert, but I actually like the brass colour and it does suit the watch.Mark
I've narrowed it down and my next watch will be the Speedmaster Professional, the hesalite sandwich version. I would like to wear it on the 1498 bracelet. I do prefer a brand new watch, but would have to buy the 1498 bracelet separately if I buy new. If I were to buy a brand new watch and the 1498 bracelet seperately would the bracelet and watch head not match well? Would it be best to buy an older version that came originally with the 1498 bracelet? Thanks for your thoughts.
what's going on, I cant seem to find anybody that is carrying Omega anymore. I was in the mall the other day and both jewelry stores that used to have them along with Rolex stopped carrying Omega. anybody know why I cant get a straight answer from them
Looking to buy a Broad Arrow, this one to be exact. I can't find any AD's in my area with it in stock, and of course if they order it they don't want to discount it. Any recommendations on good grey market dealers or AD's? Called alanfurman and they said $3600 and that the watch would come with the warranty card from the AD they purchased from so the Omega warranty would be valid. Is this true? Is this a good price for this watch? Thanks for any help, I've been buying Rolex's lately and am a little out of touch on the Omega's.
