Different watch brands are experimenting with various ways of doing it, but the best approach is something like Linde Werdelin has done. From your seat you generally only see the "finished product" and the fancy marketing photos that come from the secret watch making lairs - often in Europe. But who are these people? And how serious are they about all the claims they make such as "sport watch" or "1000 meters water resistance." Considering black monster
I saw what looked like a good deal on a BM. I've had my on on a OM w/ ss bracelet, but saw the BM w/ rubber strap on sale. How does the rubber compare to the ss? This would be my first Seiko. What would you consider a "great deal" on a BM?

New arrival: Seiko 7548-700B from the bay...
This 7548-700B from 1988 was listed on the bay (uk) with no reserve last week. According to its description it was not working currently. As there were still no bidders and because I'm currently in a quartz mood I kindly asked the seller to speed up the procedure a bit and he kindly agreed. One week later this little gem arrived today. After replacing the battery with a fresh one (very clean movement) its now ticking again ...and next to my other 7548-700B from 1983 on the right...(new one on the right now)(new one now on the left)Thank you Seiko for such great joy and value for money

AP ROO Panda arriving tomorrow.
Some may know that I had a panda 18 months ago but I had a problem with the winding crown and I stated I’d lost confidence in AP. At that time I was a one watch man and generally a Daytona lover so this ‘minor’ problem made my mind up at the time that I was going back to Rolex. Delighted to say that my finances now allow me to indulge in a wider watch collection. I currently have a white gold Daytona and a new Seadweller 43. This is my non Rolex watch.
