Seiko SGEG74 wrist watches news:
Just arrived two days ago, and I'm enjoying this one. Features the 4r36 movement (hacking, manual winding and self winding), screw down caseback and crown, 200m. A good size, and wears well. Some pics below:Anyone else have this model?Eric
Hello all,I recently purchased a vintage Patek Philippe ref 96 which was made in 1940.The watch has a beautiful caliber 12""120 manual movement with swan neck regulation but I've noticed that the movement is simply signed "Patek Philippe" and the movement number WITHOUT the usual "adjusted to five positions etc" and the Geneva Seal :-( ...Is this normal or do only Patek Philippe's best quality movements have the adjustments and Geneva Seal and is mine therefore likely to be of a "lower grade" of quality ???Many thanks in advance for all your replies !!- Sean (I am new to the forum and Patek Philippe so please accept my apologies for my ignorance)
Ok I have tried to find sources on what is needed. So I have a 15400 I would like to purchase and change to rubber and croc straps. So I would need the strap if self (obviously), then ROO connectors for the actual case, and then the buckle?
All credit for this story goes to the August 2017 edition of Esquire Magazine. My apologies if it has already been shown and discussed.
I picked up a PAM392 about 2 weeks ago. After 2 weeks of wear, I noticed that the bezel is getting scratched up pretty good. Nothing deep, just a lot of light scratches, noticeable enough for me to be annoyed/worried. My questions:Is this common? Anything I should do to fix/avoid?
