In the late 1930s, Panerai created a few examples of the Radiomir with a unique dial design. Today, only two examples survive. Why they were created is not known. Their history washed away with the Panerai archive in the Florence flood of 1966. The new Radiomir 3 Days Platino picks up this dial design, which has never before been revived. For those that do not know, a 'marriage watch' is usually a watch where the movement has been fitted into a different case for various reasons.To-day, I came accross this: R0LEX Co Ltd 25 WORLD'S RECORDS ANTIQUE WRISTWATCH 1936ORIGINAL ENAMEL DIAL & 15 JEWEL TIMED IN 6 POSITIONSOn examining the picture, we can see the crown is at 12 o clock, so we can then presume this watch is the movement from a pocket watch fitted in a new case.but I know Rolex ONLY made one (very brief) pocket watch in 19o5 period, then quickly moved to wrist watches.But according to the seller this IS an original Rolex (in a STAR case) I think NOT.But according to the seller this is an Original Rolex Face, I think NOT. Porcelain faces by 1936, I think not?The hands are wrong too.The whole watch is VERY strange. Not exactly a new watch perse..but changed the strap from leather to bracelet (mesh style my current fav) and viola!!! It looks really really nice :) And finally got one that fits my wrist size too :)

you forget the weight as if there is nothing there??? like naked???happened to me on a PO 2500... ugggh... scared me shietless for a second...not sure how but i think it maybe the way that its loose and high on my forearm than my wrist.

...they've been alleviated.Got a sneak preview from a non-AD today on two BLNRs that they've recently acquired. I was starting to worry that it wouldn't live up to my expectations - after all, I haven't actually seen one in the flesh for over 2 years. Glad to say that i was blown away and although itd a huge cliche, the pictures just dont it justice.I've stopped wearing my 43mm Tag Heuer to try and make it any easier adjustment to 40mm and I have to say it made a difference to my perception. When I first tried on a Submariner a few years ago I couldn't get past how small it felt but today I felt like the fit was perfect.
