Well After Various Changes Of Direction......Still A New Patek!
Just a recap several weeks back i was offered a real nice Patek 5960 but to step up to the plate the Daytona had to go but with sellers remorse setting in before i'd given sold it, deep breath and let it go, but you now how it is once your're in new watch mode its only time!, so attempting sensibility my thoughts ran KEEP! the WG Daytona i honestly don't think you'd get a more unique dial and i love the fraction formations on mine and the smaller onyx 3-6-9 indices more in line with the other subtle markings rather than on the newer premium dials with the larger SQUARE markers IMHO. so i'm now looking at something in SS [and cheap being a relative term] as a daily wearer yes rolex make many with a few nice ones to come, maybe i'll regret it but at this time rolex leaves me sort of ho-hum! bored nor excited!, so to the forefront rose AP and Patek i'd all but picked up a RO 15300 when a offshore was offered by a unsolicitated PM after making enquiring post on AP in general on the forums,

the 3 Panerai made for their die hard fans
Panerai made 3 special watches for what they call the Paneristi.Long ago the 195, than the 360 and now the 532.All 3 of them are or were VERY hard to get. Some say you had to be selected.The 532 won't probably be another story. Allocated via the Paneristi website or being a well know Panerai client will probably be the way to get one.I can't imagine John Doe will walk into a boutique or AD and be able to buy the 532The 195 abd 360 were immense popular, the 532 will follow the same path without questionThat aside, which one would you prefer ?The 195 and 360 are almost the same ( black 44 mm Luminor) or would you prefer to have the new 1940 model ?195360532The movement is a no-brainer. Hi I havent been here for a while but I do seem to remember reading that Rolex AD have to follow strict pricing and cannot sell for more than retail price no matter how desirable.Which brings me to my story.Last year in Bangkok I had the chance to try on a green submariner from a Rolex boutique it was a great experience in I walk with open toe sandals and shorts and treated extremely well.I asked about the price and they informed me that with green ones they add on an extra 20,000baht which is ¡ê500 in uk money.They receive 2 green ones every month they told me that they get what what Rolex gives them. If I only knew how sought after the green ones have become I should have chewed her hand off for it.So moving forward to present day I get my thai contact to enquire about price because now Iam interested right.Almost every shop she called told her that she would need previous purchase history in order to be put on the waiting list which is what Iam experiencing now in the UK. DAMN!!!but
