Chopard 278475-3037 wrist watches news:
With their latest timepiece, the Meister Telemeter, Junghans is indeed going for distance, and speed. And yes, I couldn't help myself¨C when I realized the watch had both telemeter (for distance) and tachymeter (and speed) scales, well, that particular Cake lyric popped into my head (and managed to stay lodged there for a good bit as well). Fortunately for you and me, there's more than just a catchy pop reference to talk about with this watch. At first glance, I quickly gathered that this was indeed retro-styled. Further reading reveals that it's actually retro-inspired as well. Junghans has a history in timing, with their first tachymeter scale watches appearing in in the 1930s; jump forward to 1951, and you find watches from the brand that had an additional telemeter scale added on.It's from this 1951 model that the latest release draws inspiration. This shows up in how the dial is arranged, which is in part driven by the movement inside. In the 2014 model, it's the J880.3 movement tha
This year Ulysse Nardin?changes the name of its Freak Diavolo watch to the "Freak Phantom." I can't say why that is, but I suspect it has to do with conservative types who take issue with the fact that a watch is called "devil." That is the watch industry for youWhat else has changed? Well the Diavolo was previously offered only in 18k white gold, and now we have it in 18k rose gold. Still probably one of the coolest tourbillon watches available when you want something that's not standard fare. The Ulysse Nardin Freak is an extremely important watch in the modern luxury watch landscape. Ulysse Nardin defied much of the industry when it was released in the early 2000s with a movement that used many silicon parts - it was the first. Since then even the most conservative brands such as Breguet and Patek Philippe have decided that silicon (silicium) parts are indeed an upgrade in many instances when it comes to increasing the performance and longevity of a mechanical watch. Today Ulysse Nar
Now I know this will get some of you fired up...Just went to order the venerable 3573...my AD says no more deliveries until after Feb. 1 and yes that means the 15% increase on top of the current price. So before I say it...does anybody have a decent discount source for this watch? If not...I AM DONE BUYING OMEGA...really?...REALLY!
I've been checking out options for some time, and have not found a resource of bezel designs. If I knew names, descriptions, or years a bezel was offered, it might make my research a little easier.I find this bezel particularly handsome, indeed:while another gold rotating bezel, perhaps a tiny bit less, depending on the mood:[/QUOTE]Any help? Thanks
Hi, amongst my collection of Omegas I have a 2006 Planet Ocean - Casino Royale, I like the watch but have a recurring problem....the rubber strap.Presently, the watch is on its third rubber strap and taking it off today noticed that just like its predecessor. the strap is beginning to crack and split in several places. I do not wear the watch everyday and always wash it and clean after swimming. I am somewhat bemused given that the straps retail at ¡ê230 and the AD's attitude is simply buy another strap !Has anyone else had a similar experience (all my other watches are on steel bracelets). Is it worth contacting Omega directly and seeing if they will offer some sort of compensation on what will be the fourth strap in 6 years ?
