- Dial is a little more silver looking in person than the blue that appears in the pictures on the site. Having said this, it still looks great, is light in weight, and is a good value.

- The watch is funky with a class. Strap is bit tricky. It is clip on than the traditional buckle.

Montblanc 112512 wrist watches news:
This week, while at a restaurant on the beach, I saw a man wearing a U-Boat wrist watch. I'd never seen a U-Boat in the wild before and was quite struck by it's size and appearance. Looking at photos of U-Boats in the past have never impressed me, not at all, but this one had me mesmerized. I have never been a fan of HUGE watches, but this U-Boat, despite it's size, just seemed ¡ ummm ¡ right. Not sure which of the U-Boat models it was, but it looked like something from their Classico series. The watch had a beige face and a black leather band, and was very large. I'm not sure, but I suspect it was this one:Amazon: U-Boat Men's 5571 Classico Watch: U-Boat: WatchesVery simple and plain, but very striking and stunning in its simplicity. It's really got me thinking about getting one for myself, but I'm going to give it a few days to see if the fever passes.I noticed, by the way, that the same U-Boat Classico referenced above (5571, which is a 53mm watch) is also available in a 45mm v
I recently picked up a used Oris BC3, and it has a couple of spots with minor scratches. I was going to just leave them, but the more I wear the watch the more I like it, and the more I want to do something about them. So, based on the photos below, is there any home remedy that doesn't involve abrasive pastes or polishes, or should I just break down and pay a jeweler to do it? If I go that route, what will they likely use, and what should I expect to pay? Thanks for any input, and here are the photos:
Now this is an endless dilemma! So I can't justify paying $14,500 which is currently the going price for the 15300, when the 15202 is a $3500 difference. The 15202 is newer, has a much better movement, thinner, a nicer looking blue dial; The 15300 also has caused a lot of problems with the movement, and the clasp, etc.Not to mention the 15300 current prices are higher than they were being sold brand new only a year and a half ago. Which makes me doubt how long the value will be helding to the next problem. The 15202 is a couple of 1000s away from the 5711.The 5711 is my grail watch, but I simply can't go above 18K at this time.
Thanks for all the input in the which annual calendar thread! I went with my heart and this piece landed in the collection yesterday. Genta lives on!
I usually only find radiomirs with a tapered 26/22 (or 27/22) sized asso strap. Anyone has a pic of their 292 on a 26/26 size, points for oem asso or jv!
