Hamilton H42425151 wrist watches news:
In keeping with recent tradition, IWC has put its marketing focus on one watch collection for 2014. This year, it’s the Aquatimer, the brand’s line of divers’ watches. Here are three new models in the revamped Aquatimer collection, which makes its full debut at January’s SIHH watch fair.In a press release for the new Aquatimer collection, IWC reveals that the 2014 Aquatimer watches will be distinguished by a new type of internal/external rotating bezel, will contain even more in-house IWC movements, and will feature a patented IWC bracelet quick-change system. (More info on the new designs and mechanisms for the 2014 Aquatimer collection is available here.) The collection also features several special-edition models devoted to the environmental organizations IWC supports, the Charles Darwin Foundation and the Cousteau Society. As its model name implies, the IWC Aquatimer 2000 (Ref. IW358002) is water-resistant to 2,000 meters, making it more than suitable for pro
i'm thinking if i should get a 5980 now or wait for the 5990 to release?
I just had to post this one, as most people would not believe it unless they see it with their own eyes. Earlier in the week I posted an Incoming thread with a lovely 9ct gold Zenith dress watch. The actual age of the watch was unknown and it could have had any one of several movements so I decided to take a look inside and while doing so get some close up photographs of the movement. I carefully opened the case and saw what appeared to be a lovely clean movement so I duly set about taking the photographs for showing to fellow members. After I'd taken the photographs I downloaded them onto my computer and just could not believe what I was seeing - the whole movement is covered in tiny hair clippings I contacted the seller to complain, especially as I had confirmed that the watch had just been serviced. Who services a watch while trimming their hair or their beard? Anyway I got no-where with the seller so I will try and find a watchmaker who can do the job properly. This is gross, and I
Has anyone ever seen one of these before? Right now it's carrying a vintage Timex electricIt had a name on it, but it wore off where I can't see it.I'm not sure if it has any value left...I'm not even sure what it is!
Hi, sincere apologies if this has been discussed before, believe me, I have searched and googled but I have not quite been able to find what I am after.I will be receiving my ceramic Submariner soon and I am curious about what it would be like to wear on a rubber or leather strap, most specifically the comfort aspect. I know that the Submariner is by all accounts very comfortable to wear on it's steel bracelet. So, my question is, do you find a rubber/leather strap more or less comfortable to wear than the steel bracelet? In real world daily use, what do you prefer?I love the way it looks on steel, but I can see that it might be fun to change things around sometimes. Thanks in advance for any advice.
