Invicta 17754 wrist watches news:
omega 1.jpgomega 2.jpgSo I just picked this watch up from an auction. (only two pics I have at the moment) In true "Oh Cr*p" fashion Ive bought first and researching later. I don't know what movement is in the watch yet. Just by looking around I havebeen unable to fin anything just like it. That fact is increasing my fear of frankenwatches. Any thoughts from those whoknow more and probably would of known better?
........got this puppy back from my watch guy today, ....although this is a photo from when I got it.....and I took myself over to the catalogs and diligently scrolled through looking for a match ....and thought I had it in Adam.....but then I looked closer ....everything matched ....except the numbers arranigment .....Adam has them at 12, 3,6 and 9 whereas this one is evne numbers, 12, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 .......aarrggghhh....the case looks the same, the H and the Hamilton name placement, the sub dial second hand ......it is one of the only cushion -y shape of the 50s and 60s.....most of the square ones have straight lines.....and the band is close, but not exactly at least for the Adam that is .....did Hamilton ever use Spiedel bands ? whacha think?
Have you guys been following the teasers on Omega's Facebook page? They're causing quite a stir on other boards. This is what has been released so far:
Back in March, my urologist insisted on a totally unnecessary prostate biopsy which resulted in an e. coli infection requiring two hospitalizations and weeks of home infusions. Then in June, I suffered a Type VI tibial plateau fracture of my right leg - again, two hospitalizations followed by extensive rehab. Then this month, my wife spent 18 days in the hospital near death without a definite diagnosis. And for the first time in ten years, no Omegas (new or pre-owned) added to the collection. So 2012 was not a good year. But I'm walking again, my wife is home and improving each day, and this Thursday the new Omega arrives.Indications are that 2013 will be better at our house.I pray it will be better at yours also.
Hi thereWas wondering what is the best way to go right now. With the caliber 3285 now available on the new GMT Pepsi and Root beer, would you buy a current model GMT LN or Batman equipped with 3186 or wait perhaps until the next Baselworld? Does it take usually a year until Rolex roll out new movements?I guess the same applies with the Submariner which is still due to get the 3235 movement...ThanksPS: The GMT TT Root beer is great IMHO
