Mention the name URWERK to the watch community and it¡¯s instantly recognizable for the cutting edge case design and unique time tracking system. Right choice
Hello fellow collectors,I had never thought that there will be a day for me to post and seek advice for wise choice...Im trying to get myself a new watch for my birthday soon and recently came across 2 watches which drive me crazy. 1. PATEK Gondolo 5124g, which I love the shape and versatality. Especially the curve shape makes it extra special comparing to most of other similar shaped. This watch is simple, well to go with any occasion in my eyes. 2. Patek Annual Calender 5205g, I love the lugs' detailing, absolute art piece. This is one absolute stunning watch with great combination yet so clean and simple. I will say this watch goes so well wth suit or semi formal attire. The question is, I see less love for the gondolo 5124g in forums or instagram. Is is the reason of the "blood-line" issue or because of the simple mechanism and people tend to lean toward complication mechanism? A Strap Tale
So I bought a ML Open Heart Masterpiece from a well known member here and with the watch came a brand-spanking new strap. Of course the strap is a bit too small, I was given the receipt so it should not be a problem getting it exchanged, right? Wrong, when I contacted ML parts she did not want to hear anything from me, I was not the original purchaser. "Get the original owner to contact us" she replied. Not a problem, he is a great guy. He calls and he too gets blown off. Hmmmmm. OK I call again looking for names of managers, vp's or anyone in Switzeland. After I got the manager's name she said "what's the problem?" So I said "your parts person is unreasonable" or words to that effect. Jessica says "what is the model number?", what is the name of the original purchaser?", then she says " send me a copy of the receipt and your name and address with the strap". This morning the new larger strap came. It cost $50.00 more and some aggrevation.

pam 372 crystal or plexi?
does the pam 372 still come with plexi? i think i read somewhere that it had changed to crystal? Is this true?
