- Purchased for my 11 year old daughter who really likes it. When you press the side it lights up to see the dial in the dark. It is a basic watch, but looks good, seems sturdy and works just fine.

Cartier W3140007 wrist watches news:
Hi all, I am a new poster to the American forum and only recently addicted to vintage watch collecting. I consider myself a USA-centric snob. My collection is mostly Elgins, Hamiltons and Walthams. I believe though that any movement marked USA should be considered as made in America. I have several Bulovas (10ak, 10bp, 8ae) and Gruens (335). Am I correct that the USA on a movement has a specific meaning? Also are there any other manufacturers that have made movements in America? (I have some Westclox. Westcloxi?) Wittenaur? Benrus? Timex? Thanks, Joel
I have an old dial that I was told was originally on a 22A. The dial feet are at 27-28 min and 57 minutes. The diameter is 28.5-29 mm. What other Longines movement would this dial fit?longine dial.jpg
I am trying to buy a Super Avenger and it is very difficult because there are fakes that really look about 99% there. I am having trouble telling the difference between fakes and real SAs. If I could see the movement it would be easy but most sellers don't do this. Can anyone confirm there were three different dials? And better yet, any ideas on approximately when they changes to these dials? 1) I'm pretty sure this was the first Super Avenger, with the deep cuts and bigger Breitling logo, chrome surround on the DW, and AUTOMATIC written over the 6 o'clock subdial. 2) This one has cuts in 7, 8, 10, and 11. Maybe this is the second version?3) 2) This one has smaller Breitling logo and cuts into the 10 and 11 but not the 8. I have a feeling this is the newest version. The reason I'm asking is, prices are all over the map for Super Avengers. It doesn't make sense for me to buy one that is 13 years old if there is one that is 3 years old for the same price. I'm really worried about buying a
G'day everyone..Just got myself a new original panerai LUMINOR CALF CASHMERE strap. Most importantly for our hot humid climate, these new straps are water-resistant!Personally I think the color of the straps is a perfect match to the 372. Feels good too! The padded straps suit 372 more than the oem vintage non padded strap IMHO. The padded ones makes it look newer ie moving away from the DNA... Hahaha... Well I am in for the sake of the water resistances feature more than anything else. Anyhow, let me know what you think! Some pic to share... Greetings AllI recently purchased a Rolex Explorer Ref. 214270 in an AD in London/UK. To my surprise I was told by the AD that all the stickers would have to be removed before handing it over to me. The AD also stated that it was their NEW Policy on all Rolex Professional Models. Is this to prevent resellers from flipping? Is this happening in other parts of the world? Please let me have your comments.Thank you very much.timeldn
